Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Shutterloft (the "Service"), a hosting and delivery platform for photographers and studios. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for any team members you invite to your studio. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to use the Service.

2. Your content

You retain all rights to the photographs and other materials you upload ("Your Content"). You grant Shutterloft a limited licence to store, process, resize, watermark and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you and the clients you share it with. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and consents (including model and property releases) for Your Content.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Do not use the Service to store or distribute malware, or to harass or harm others.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

4. Plans, billing and trials

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. Prices are shown on the pricing page. You may cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice.

5. Selling through Shutterloft

Where the Service lets you sell digital downloads or prints, you set your own prices. You are responsible for the tax treatment of your sales and for fulfilling your obligations to your customers. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider under their own terms.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may add, change or remove features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect you.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. On termination we will, on request and within a reasonable period, make Your Content available for export before deletion.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, and the courts of Norway have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
